With a combined mastery of flute, trumpet, bassoon and piano, THREE’s programming is versatile and eclectic, ranging from the masterpieces of Western Europe to Argentinean Tangos to new works by Canada’s own great composers.

A collection of favourite works for trumpet, corno, bassoon and piano, this new mini-recital disc samples music from Guy Few and Nadina Mackie Jackson's touring careers. Performed across the country and for listeners of all ages, these pieces represent some of the duo's most cherished musical gems and audience favourites too. Guy even plays trumpet and piano simultaneously!

Guy Few (trumpet), Nadina Mackie Jackson (bassoon),  Nicholas McGegan (conductor), Toronto Chamber Orchestra. The second disc in the long term recording and commissioning project directed by Nadina Mackie Jackson and Guy Few with the Toronto Chamber Orchestra, pairing double concerti with solo concerti for trumpet and bassoon. The title is inspired by the lyrical slow movements that figure in each of these nineteenth century concerti for trumpet, bassoon, corno and orchestra.
